Are you leading or managing your school?

  • Are your school leaders working as a powerful team?
  • Are you evidence based or data driven?
  • Do you know how to leverage the single greatest effect on student learning outcomes?

Join us for an Education Leadership Masterclass with Dr Neil Carrington...

Creating a performance culture in your school means knowing the difference between being a leader and being a manager. It is about focusing on the relationships you build with your staff and the broader culture you create within your school community.

Creating a performance culture is an engagement strategy that builds strength and results over time. For too long performance systems have been trapped in a deficit paradigm, ignoring much of the excellent work that people do. In this Masterclass, you will be challenged to reflect deeply on your own thinking and how you invest time in your most expensive resource - staff!

You will examine ways in which leadership can foster quality teaching and student achievement in educational settings.

Participants will be exposed to contemporary research and evidence about effective leadership, student accomplishment, quality teaching, school culture and educational change. They will be able to critically reflect on their own leadership attributes and analyse the relationship between leadership and quality teaching in their current workplace. It will include discussion of successful examples of how to de-privatise teaching practice.  What else will you discover?  More details here.
