Participants will be exposed to contemporary research and evidence about effective leadership, student accomplishment, quality teaching, school culture and educational change. They will be able to critically reflect on their own leadership attributes and analyse the relationship between leadership and quality teaching in their current workplace. The 2014 Education Leadership Masterclasses are presented by Act for Kids, in partnership with the Principal Associations of Australia.

Act for Kids is an Australian not-for-profit organisation providing free therapy and service to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect. Dr Carrington, CEO, is conducting this national tour on behalf of Act for Kids. This Masterclass will provide a practical service to the leaders of Australian schools and cement the collaborative partnerships that exist between Act for Kids and Australian school principals. Dr Carrington and the organising team are offering their services pro bono so that all profits raised will support Act for Kids' work to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect.
